Summary of the Movie The opening scene in the movie is set in a young womans changing-room. The air is calorifacient and humid with the steam from the showers. At first we just see the water running down her thigh, then a hot colour appears in the water, and soon it is evident that the girl is bleeding. When she notices this herself, she panicks and screams to t he antithetical girls for help. Realising ! that Carrie is menstruating, the other girls are disgusted.
